Korean Alphabet - Hangul (Normal Input)
This is the same list as the other “Korean Alphabet – Hangul” except that you don’t need to use the Korean IME. Note: ‘ㅇ’ is either mute *(when it’s at the beginning of a syllable) or it’s pronounced *‘ng’ when it’s at the end of a syllable. Hangul (Hangeul) is the native alphabet of the Korean language, as distinguished from the logographic Sino-Korean hanja system. It was created in the mid-fifteenth century, and is now the official script of both North Korea and South Korea, being co-official in the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture of China. Jamo (Hangul letters) are romanized according to the Revised Romanization’s transliteration rules. Thus, the list should not be used for normal transcription of Korean language, as sound changes must be observed. The sound of the jamo can change depending on where in the word it is placed. Integrated Korean: Beginning 1 - Chapter 1
Chapter 1 This is the vocabulary that is presented at the beginning of each chapter in the book “Integrated Korean: Beginning 1” by KLEAR Textbooks in Korean Language. The only words that have been removed are the personal names, because I don’t think they’re very useful to know.

Hangul Practice
This list is made to put your Hangul skills to a test. The syllables don’t necessarily have a meaning (though some might do) since the purpose of the list is recognition. I can’t type using Korean input! Use one of these comprehensive guides on how to install (and use) Korean IME on Windows: http://www.koreanwikiproject.com/wiki/index.php?title=Help:Installing_Koreanorhttp://www.declan-software.com/korean_ime/ I don’t know how to read Hangul! Korean Question Words and Sentence Starters
I thought these might be useful as they seem to show up all the time. Don’t hesitate to comment if you find a mistake in the list. “Sentence Starters” does not mean that these words are the only way to start a sentence, though they are very common.

SNU 한국어2
this list will contain less than half the chapters in 한국어2. it will only contain the words for chapters our class didn’t cover last semester, and the words from chapters I didn’t fully get. If anyone wants to finish what I start, I am more than happy to open the list to collaborators.
