Brazilian Portuguese: 100 common words
Somewhat based off the Japanese Core course, this list has several of the items in part one of that course, except in Brazilian Portuguese. So far there are 100 words, each with an example sentence. I plan on bringing this number up to 200 to follow the Core courses’ example, so if suddenly new words show up, that’s why! Some notes: Most of the audio is in Portugal Portuguese. Therefore the accent is incorrect. So keep that in mind if you launch Dictation! I’m slowly working on adding audio to all items&sentences now that my microphone is functional. Completed so far: 005/100. Some words may have plural and gendered forms that aren’t in the list. All nouns in Portuguese are gendered, and the gender affects sentence structure a little (articles and adjectives change, for instance). An (m.) next to a noun means the word is masculine, while (f.) means it’s feminine. There are a LOT of verb tenses in Portuguese. All verbs end in “ar”, “er”, “ir” (with a couple of exceptions), and conjugation rules depend on how they end (irregular verbs notwithstanding).

Portuguese Core 2000: Step 1
This is the Portugese version of the first step of Núcleo 2000: Inglês Básico series by Cerego. I hope the masterminds behind smart.fm can figure out a way to make this process more simple in the future. The way things look, this will probably be the only part of the series I convert until they come up with an easier way.

Brazilian Portuguese - Pronouns
I’m from Brazil, so any lists and translations by me are in Brazilian Portuguese. I unfortunately don’t know enough about other kinds of Portuguese to be able to help anyone with them. :( I would record some of the words and sentences (the computer audio is in Portugal portuguese) but my microphone isn’t working very well right now. I promise I’ll do so once I have proper audio recording though. This list covers basic pronouns in Brazilian Portuguese. It doesn’t cover most plural and feminine pronouns (for those that aren’t gender/number neutral). It also doesn’t include pronouns used to address others of higher rank, such as “Vossa Alteza” (Your Highness). For gendering, plural, and other notes about this list, please go HERE.

Random Portuguese Vocab List
My vocabulary list. It´s going to be one big list but I uploaded Brazilian audio. I´m not Brazilian so please feel free comment if you see any errors. I also borrowed sentences from existing vocab lists so this will probably be an overlap, but it bothers me that the pronunciations are so off so I´m making this.
