I’m a 33 year old Network Engineer working in the Telecoms industry. I’m married with a son and two dogs.

I’ve had a fascination of all things Japanese since I was a teenage student of Shotokan Karate. Over the years this has grown to include Anime, Manga, Kurosawa movies, Console RPGs and of course the language itself.

I’ve tried to pick up the basics a few times in the past but have been put off by the stuffy approach of most text books. I hope that the combination of iKnow along with a number of podcasts I am subscribed to will finally help me cross the barrier from beginner to intermediate and beyond.
