When I was a little kid and playing with LEGO building blocks I was fascinated by the Japanese characters printed on the box, I even tried to write them down without knowing what they meant. The fascination for Hanzi/Kanji never gone away but it took years before I started to actually learn them.

In 2005 I finally started a Chinese evening course in Sint-Niklaas. After successfully completing the first four years I’m continuing my study in Antwerp and I’m still loving it… but also have a lot to learn!

Furthermore I hope to study some Japanese as well because 90% of all music I listen to is Japanese (J-Metal and some pop, rock and visual kei) :-).
